History

J
ulie Palagi (Lead) and Renee Noack (Bass) started singing together around 2016 in the quartet, Risky Business. Nichole Gorman was a replacement baritone in 2018 and has been with them ever since. Shelley Welch (Tenor) is the newest addition to the quartet, joining in 2022,. Shortly after Shelley joined, they decided the Surround Sound name better fit the foursome and does it ever! Their strong vocals blend beautifully to ring barbershop chords as well as croon popular jazz tunes.

They're quite the busy performers. You may have seen them strolling and singing at Greeley's Friday Fest. They're featured on the Sweet Adelines Greeley Harmonix Chorus's annual Christmas concert, and they have performed on the winter showcase with the Barbershop Harmony Society's Harmony Road chorus at Fort Collins Lincoln Center, and at the High Plains Harmony chorus's Sing Fest in Sterling, Colo.

In addition, they've entertained patrons a couple times at the Fort Collins Botanic Gardens Holiday Lights Festival, and their beautiful rendition of the Star Spangled Banner has opened twice for the Northern Colorado Owlz baseball, and, most recently for Firestone city's July 4th celebration.

Check this site often to find out where you can catch them next.
